Glennis Perez - M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Instruction

Glennis Perez graduated from William Paterson University in 2000 with her B.A. in elementary education. Since then, she has continued her education and enjoyed a rich career as both an educator and administrator. She is currently the lead mathematics teacher at the Village of Excellence Academy in Tampa, Florida. She is the Title 1 School Coordinator and teaches math and science to fourth graders. Glennis has served in both principal and assistant principal roles.

  2. Professional Development Glennis Perez is a Mathematics Lead at the Village of Excellence Academy in Tampa, where she oversees the ongoing professional development for math content standards and pedagogy. She teaches fourth grade math and science at the academy.

  3. Educator and Administrator Glennis Perez graduated from William Paterson University in 2000 with her B.A. in elementary education. Since then, she has continued her education and enjoyed a rich career as both an educator and administrator.

  4. Master’s Degree inEducational Leadership Glennis Perez began her career in education at Roosevelt School in New Jersey. She holds her master’s degree in educational leadership and specializes in bilingual and bicultural education. She has mentored other administrators and worked in capacity building by writing grants and running programs to support student excellence.

  5. Academic Excellence and Achievement Glennis Perez career purpose was to improve the educational systems in urban schools and guide students and teachers alike to sustainable, systemic change. She is passionate about building community partnerships that support academic excellence and achievement. when she graduated from William Paterson University. In 2019, she took a role as Mathematics Lead Teacher at Village of Excellence Academy.

  6. Career in Education Glennis Perez began her career in education as a sixth grade ELL lead teacher in Union City, New Jersey. With over two decades as a leader in education, she has worked in the classroom and in administration roles, including her time as principal for Hillsborough County Public Schools in Tampa, Florida. Glennis has won a number of awards including the Principal’s Leadership Award for the 2004-2005 school year.
