  1. Data Center Cooling Systems Market (2013 -2018): Liquid Cooling Types (In-Row, Overhead, Rear Door, In-Rack); Air Cooling Solutions and Analysis by Data Center Sizes Data centers consume huge amounts of power and the heat generated from the systems, servers in a data center need to be maintained at a threshold level for the optimal functioning of the server farm. Factors like PUE (Power Usage Efficiency) and CCF (Cooling Capacity Factor) are used in monitoring the energy efficiency and cooling capacity respectively of the data center. Data center cooling was until recently based on CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) units which were effective but had inefficiencies like re-circulation, air stratification and bypass air. This chaos air distribution hence was replaced by the hot aisle-cold aisle strategy which was also slowly replaced by the containment cooling strategy. The global data center cooling market was around $14.1 bn in 2013 and this is expected to increase to around $18.5 bn in 2018. Growth factors include increasing demand for servers across countries for faster data access and growing data storage needs along with higher speed requirements for cloud infrastructure maintenance by cloud, big data companies. As data center sizes increase and the number of personnel on site decreases, green data centres with automated cooling solutions with very low downtime is very crucial. This report describes the data center cooling systems market by providers, geography, and industry verticals. High level analysis about the data center cooling systems market strategies, future opportunities along with the business landscape analysis of key market players are focused in the report.
