COLORS OF GROWIT MULCH & ITS UNIQUE FEATURES Silver/Black Mulch Black/ Black or Black Mulch   It Absorbs most visible and Solar ultraviolet rays and helps to increase the temperature of soil ,conserves moisture and controls soil borne diseases. It maintain soil temperature because they are highly reflective. Due to silver surface, it also controls insects by 30 to 40%. Silver Black mulch is used by Majority of farmers. White/Black Mulch Transparent or Solarization Mulch  It is primarily used for a "cooling" effect. It has dual properties: light reflection and weed control since a layer of white is co-extruded over the black.  It increases soil temperature and allows rapid root growth. It works best for warming up the soil and mainly used for solarization process. Because it is denser it is more rigid and less permeable than the LDPE. The HDPE bags has better tensile strength but is not as flexible as LDPE bags. “LDPE” (Low Density Polyethylene) LDPE has the most excessive branching. This causes the low density to have a less compact molecular structure which is what makes it less dense. The LDPE bags are more flexible but with less tensile strength.
