The ailing private bank has recently come to the attention of investors and will continue to do so even after its Q4 reports.    April 21, 2023 National Quantum Mission Approved by Union Cabinet to Support Indian Startups Analysts following the stock predict that YES Bank will post mixed results in the March 2023 quarter, with net pro?t increasing signi?cantly on a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis due to a lower base, but net interest income (NIIs) and net interest margins (NIMs) declining. Experts predict that YES Bank’s pro?ts will increase year on year (YoY).   Expert Thinking’s    April 21, 2023 Sorenson Capital Leads a $50 million funding round for Cybersecurity Firm Safe Security Analysts believe that asset quality, provisioning on the balance sheet, management comments following lock-in expiry, and operational e?ciency as measured by pre-provision operating pro?t (PPOP) would be the most important issues to watch in the coming quarters.   Higher cost of funds (CoF) would result in reduced NIM and NII, according to Nuvama Institutional Equities. Yes, Bank’s loan growth has increased by 11.3 per cent year on year and 5.2 per cent quarter on quarter to Rs 2,01,500 crore. It also forecasts YES Bank’s provisions to fall 52.6 per cent year on year to Rs 400 crore, but to rise 47.6 per cent year on year.   Nuvama estimates its NIIs at Rs 19,300 crore, up 6.1% year on year but down 2% quarter on quarter. Its PPOP is expected to be Rs 2,310 crore, up 5.2% year on year but down 10.8% quarter on quarter. YES, Bank may record a net pro?t of Rs 310 crore, a 503.3 per cent increase from the previous quarter’s PAT of Rs 50 crore.   HOME Most Viewed  February 15, 2023 MARKETS CAMPAIGNS DIGITAL MEDIA MARKETING STARTUPS ECONOMIC Adani Group equities are the Subject of This Week  Emkay Global expects YES Bank’s earnings to tumble 36.9% year on year to Rs 231.90 crore, despite a 14.2% year-on-year increase in NII to Rs 2,077.40 crore. PPOP for YES Bank is estimated to be Rs 901.80 crore, up 16.5 per cent year on year. NIMs are expected to be 2.5 per cent, according to the ?rm.   FUND RAISING 

  2.  March 3, 2023 They expect better growth and some normalisation of credit costs to boost quarterly pro?ts. Slippages are projected to be lower than in the third quarter, Emkay stated.   VCs’ ?xation with start-ups’ topline, says CEO of Infosys YES, Bank shares were owned by more than 50.57 lakh shareholders as of the March 2023 quarter, the most of any Indian bank. The number of shareholders was 48 lakhs after the December 2022 quarter, but this grew when the three-year obligatory lock-in period expired in mid-March 2023.    January 31, 2023 JM Financial expects its NIIs to rise 21.7 cent year on year and 12.4% quarter on quarter to Rs 2,215.1 crore, while its PPOP to shrink 6.7% quarter on quarter to Rs 852.4 crore in Q4FY23. As per the brokerage, the PAT is Rs 405 crore, up 686.6 per cent sequentially. On an annual basis, PPOP and PAT may expand by double digits.   IHC investment leads Adani Enterprises shares to boost by 5%   According to JM Financial, YES Bank’s loans increased 13% year on year to Rs 2,046 billion, while deposits increased 10.6% year on year to Rs 2,180 billion. Its NIMs are at 2.7%, the highest in the past eight quarters.    February 20, 2023 Another brokerage ?rm, Kotak Institutional Equities, predicts that NII would increase by 6% year on year, suggesting underlying business growth. Business momentum is building across retail and MSME categories, although total loan growth is expected to be lower than the industry average of 11% year on year. Deposit growth of 11% meets corporate objectives but has slowed dramatically in recent years.   Adani Enterprises Shares Must Increase by up to 410% to Reach their 52- week Highs They forecast NIM QoQ at 2.5 per cent, with revenue growth pressure remaining high, exacerbated by weak treasury income. They anticipate seeing some progress on recovery and upgrades this quarter, but the impact on pro?tability will be di?cult to predict given the nature of the provisioning measures likely to be implemented and the recovery rates reported on these transactions, Kotak said.    February 27, 2023 YES, Bank has reduced the recommendation from Kotak Institutional Equities with a fair value of Rs 16, while JM Financial has a ‘hold’ rating with the same target price. However, investors are looking forward to the newest updates on Q4 pro?ts.
