According to internal calculations made by Route Mobile, the partnership has the potential to generate additional income of about Rs 130 crore over the next two years. Following the signing of a two-year deal for connection services and an SMS 몭rewall solution with a major Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in Sri Lanka, shares of Route Mobile increased by 5% on Thursday (January 11, 2023). According to internal calculations made by Route, the agreement generates an additional income potential of almost Rs 130 crore over the next two years. The business stated in a BSE 몭ling that the engagement is expected to go live in around ten weeks. In response to the news, the stock increased 4.98 per cent to a high of Rs 1,246.70 on the BSE. Route Mobile offers CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service) to businesses, internet service providers, and mobile network operators. Following the terms of the contract, Route Mobile will act as the MNO’s only partner for a period of 2 (two) years as it seeks to improve its market position and expand its footprint in Sri Lanka. Route Mobile will offer its complete real-time AI/ML technology as part of the exclusive collaboration. The MNO in Sri Lanka was given an A2P SMS Firewall solution. According to Route Mobile, the 몭rewall solution will help the MNO maximise revenue by e몭ciently identifying, locating, and 몭ltering international A2P SMS tra몭c travelling via grey routes and terminating on its network. The business will also provide the MNO-managed services associated with the 몭rewall technology. Expert Saying The company added that as an exclusive partner, Route Mobile will use its connections to major worldwide corporations to promote the termination of international A2P SMS tra몭c on the Sri Lankan MNO’s network.
According to Route Mobile, prominent MNOs throughout the world use its AI/ML-based A2P SMS 몭rewall solutions to 몭nd and stop leakages caused by grey route tra몭c that ends up on their networks. The business added that major worldwide A2P SMS volumes from top global corporations are being sent onto the networks of its MNO clients via its CPaaS platform. According to Rajdipkumar, “This unique cooperation with the top Sri Lankan MNO has once again con몭rmed our reliable 몭rewall solution together with our reach with major worldwide organisations.” Gupta, Route Mobile’s group CEO and managing director, while increasing MNO income, these internal projections indicate that throughout the two- year contract.
