TCS shares rise by 3%, add Rs 31,000 crore to m-cap ahead of Quarter 3 results

Investec expects margin to improve to 24.8% against 24% in the September quarter. ICICIdirect eyes margin for TCS coming in at 24.2 per cent. Tata Consultancy Services reported a TCV of 8.1 billion dollars in September which included only a single large deal. It is believed the deal wins were low in the December quarter due to delays seen in decision-making, especially on long-term deals.

  2. On Monday TCS Shares climbed 3% & topped Rs. 12 Lakh Crore in market capitalisation (m-cap), ahead of the IT major’s Dec quarter results. The IT company’s stock climbed by 3.01% to touch a high of Rs. 3308.95. The IT giant company’s market capitalisation rose to stand at a sum of Rs 12,06,755 crore in early trade from Rs 11,75,287 crore on Friday, up by Rs 31, 467 crores.   Investors expect the IT major to log a 15.3 per cent YoY jump in net pro몭t at Rs 11,261 crore compared with Rs 9,769 crore in the same quarter the previous year while some expects TCS’ bottom line to grow by 14.4 per cent to value at Rs 11,220 crore. Nuvama company sees pro몭t at Rs 11,377 crore, up 16.5 per cent YoY or 9.1 per cent Quarter on Quarter.   Meanwhile Reliance Securities expect revenues for TCS climbing 17.6 % Year on Year to 57,496 Crore from Rs 48,885 Crore in the previous year quarter.    In currency terms, TCS is expected to report a 1.9 % constant revenue growth in CC term compared with a likely 1.2 per cent growth for Infosys, 3 percent rise for HCL tech & 1.2 per cent for Wipro.    Additionally, Nuvama eyes growth of Dollar ($) for TCS at 1.6 per cent QoQ. IT Major Reliance Securities sees dollar revenues for TCS rising 1.8 % per quarter at $7003 million or $7 Billion.   Tata Consultancy Services management team had stated earlier that the focus was on improving margins. The pros of low sub-contracts & higher billable freshers along with rupee depreciation should help the margin.   Investec expects margin to improve to 24.8% against 24% in the September quarter. It is believed the deal wins were low in the December quarter due to delays seen in decision-making, especially on long-term deals.   The Forecast   All-in-All the forecast for TCS looks good & compared to other market factors it is advised to invest in the stocks of the IT giant & although it’s a no- brainer that the market keeps 몭uctuating, TCS is showing signs of a steady rise in stock & share value.
