Goals of the CHSSCO Create visible presence for Head Start at state level to develop partnerships with other programs concerned with young children & families Foster working coalitions with Head Start Association, Regional Office, technical assistance providers, state agencies and others in early education, and...

    7. CHSSCO Goals, continued... To serve as a facilitator across the early childhood system in order to improve and expand services to Head Start and other early childhood program families and children.

    8. State Collaboration Offices create partnerships to improve: access to heath/dental care availability, quality of child care collaboration with welfare system education opportunities in early childhood programs interaction with community services programs

    9. And improve... access to family literacy services opportunities for children with developmental disabilities access for homeless families
