    2. Guiding Coalition is the term used to describe the 15o principals who were nominated by their regional offices to attend the ICTs Leaders Conference at the Gold Coast in April 2006. The selection of these principals and heads of department was based on several criteria including location, ICT readiness, enrolment and to ensure a mix of primary, secondary and P-12 schools. Ten ICTs leaders were chosen from each region plus eight other invited leaders. The Guiding Coalition is a key component in the change management processes for the implementation of OneSchool. Participation in the technical trial was offered to members of the Guiding Coalition who were operating in the managed environment (MOE).
