  1. Informatica Cloud (IICS): Creating an Oracle Database Connection To create an Oracle connection in Informatica Cloud, follow these general steps: 1. Log in to Informatica Cloud: Go to the Informatica Cloud website and log in using your credentials. 2. Navigate to the Connections page: Once logged in, navigate to the "Connections" page. This page typically lists all the available connections. - Informatica Online Training 3. Click on "New Connection" or equivalent: Look for an option to create a new connection. It might be labeled as "New Connection" or something similar. 4. Select Oracle as the connection type: In the new connection setup wizard, choose Oracle as the connection type. You might need to select from a list of available connection types. 5. Provide connection details: - Connection Name: Give your connection a meaningful name. - Connection URL: Enter the URL or hostname of your Oracle database server. - Port Number: Specify the port number for your Oracle database server (usually 1521 by default). - Service Name: Provide the service name or SID of the Oracle database. - Username and Password: Enter the credentials of a user with appropriate permissions to access the Oracle database. 6. Test the connection: After providing the connection details, there's often an option to test the connection. Click on it to ensure that the connection details are correct and that Informatica Cloud can connect to your Oracle database. - Informatica Cloud Online Training 7. Save the connection: Once the connection test is successful, save the connection details. 8. (Optional) Configure additional settings: Depending on your requirements, you might have additional settings to configure, such as connection pooling options, advanced connection properties, etc. Configure them as needed. 9. Finish: Once you've configured all the necessary settings, finish the setup process. Your Oracle connection should now be available in Informatica Cloud, allowing you to use it in your data integration tasks, mappings, and workflows. Remember that the exact steps and interface might vary slightly depending on the version of Informatica Cloud you're using, but the general process should be similar to the steps outlined above.
