  2. World of stamps • Stamps are fun and exciting to use, but they can also be expensive. Stamp prices have only gone up over the years. World of stamps • Stamp prices depend on a chart that the USPS publishes. The chart lists rates for domestic letters, international letters, and what it costs to send first-class mail. • It’s important to remember that postage costs change every few years as the USPS issues new postage rates. It’s also important to know that you can always find free shipping coupons and discount codes if you search online.

How Much are Stamps? • The current rate for a domestic stamp is 39 cents, but you can get that rate by using a 1$ logo. • The current rate on international first-class stamps is 56 cents, but if you buy the 2$ stamps, it will only cost you 54 cents to mail an international letter. The 1$ and 2$ stamps are unavailable in many countries and only valid in the US or Canada. • If you’re mailing something heavier than a pound, it costs more. The Type of Mail • The type of mail that you’re mailing can also increase the price. If you’re mailing a package, well, you guessed it, it costs more to send a package than a letter. And if you’re mailing Priority mail, it will be more expensive than regular first-class mail.

In other words, if the envelope is larger, it will increase postage costs for the sender. It is especially true when mailing packages. • 5. Special Delivery • If you’re sending something special, then it makes sense that you’d want to make sure it gets delivered quickly. But you’ll have to pay for the privilege. You can get a unique air mail stamp for letters and packages. These are called “Priority” or “Express” mail stamps, depending on what kind of service you want to use.

They have a stash of symbols that they keep in the back so that people can save their money. It’s essential to remember that you should always read the fine print on the back of the stamp before you purchase it. • The back of a used stamp will tell you why it’s no longer valid. For example, if the stamp is defective, it will state that on the back. Also, keep an eye out for stamps that are missing ink or torn.
