  1. HP Instant Ink Error GSS001 There are a variety of reasons why this might be happening, and we want to make sure you understand what to do about it. We’ll go over the most common difficulties with HP Instant Ink printers and how to fix them so you can get your printer back up and running. I see you’re attempting to enroll the printer in Instant Ink. Please follow the instructions in the below document – Enrolling in HP Instant Ink. HP Instant Ink. HP Instant Ink is a printing service available only with HP printers, and it saves you time and money. This is how it works. • Select a printing plan depending on how many pages you expect to print per month.

  2. A set of HP Instant cartridges is sent to you when you sign up for the HP Instant Ink service and give a delivery address. Your service will begin as soon as you enroll, and you will be able to use the cartridges that came with your printer. Your six months of service begin immediately if you sign up for the free trial offered during printer setup. • After the trial period, you will be billed each month at the conclusion of your billing cycle. Instant Ink keeps track of your consumption and supplies ink or toner cartridges before you run out, ensuring that you never run out. Instant Ink cartridges are delivered only when they are needed, so they may not arrive every month. Your service includes shipping and cartridge recycling. • If you print fewer pages than your plan allows, the unused pages roll over to your plan’s limit. Additional pages are charged to your monthly payment at the rate given during registration if you print more than your plan quantity. • With no additional fees or penalties, you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Because Instant Ink cartridges are linked to the service, they can only be used as long as your subscription is current.

  3. Enroll in HP Instant Ink. • It only takes a few minutes to sign up for Instant Ink. You’ll need an internet-connected printer, an HP account, an email address, and a payment method*. • In roughly 10 days*, you’ll receive your welcome kit containing cartridges. After that, Instant Ink will send you cartridges as needed. • If your printer has not yet been registered to your HP account, go to 123.hp.com to download the HP Smart app for your computer or mobile device. The HP Smart app will walk you through the printer configuration and enrollment procedure. • Follow these instructions if your printer has already been added to your HP account but has not yet been enrolled in Instant Ink. • Go to your HP Instant Ink account and sign in. • Click HP Instant Ink > Plan Overview if HP Instant Ink appears as an option in the left menu. • To finish the enrollment, click Enroll Another Printer or Enroll/Replace Printer.

  4. When you replace your printer, keep your account. • You can preserve your existing Instant Ink account and change the printer associated with it if you replace a printer with an Instant Ink account with another printer. • This is true whether HP replaces your printer under wvarranty or you buy a new one. When you change a printer, you can maintain the prior printer’s rollover pages, free months, prepaid amounts, account history, and other account information. • If you’re replacing an Instant Ink printer, make sure you use the HP Smart app to set up the new printer. • During printer setup, the HP Smart app immediately replaces the printer on the Instant Ink account if HP provides a replacement printer under warranty. • If you purchased a replacement printer, look for the option to replace an old printer during set up with the HP Smart app. For the replacement printer, you must first identify the existing Instant Ink account.
