  2. Tablet PC • Like a regular PC • Has Tablet surface you can draw on • Drawing can be saved • Drawing can be “anything” • Drawing can be interactive with Powerpoint • Writing can be saved

  3. Availability • Many models. Direct from vendor (CompUSA has some) • General price range $1500-3000 • Fujitzu Stylistic - $2300 including stand with CD-room drive • Some models are like a laptop where the screen can be flipped over so it becomes a tablet

  4. Main Current Use 1 • Draw graphs during class in Research Methods and Experimental Psychology courses • Replaces the old blackboard or the transparencies • The drawings/diagrams can be saved and placed on the electronic Blackboard after class

  5. Main Current Use 2 • Draw/annotate on Powerpoint slides during the slide presentation • The slides can be saved with the drawing and placed on the electronic Blackboard after class • The Powerpoint slides can be just pure graph paper in such cases or pre-drawn graphs
