  2. Afinal, o que é SANEAR? SANEAR é a AÇÃO de tornar algo SÃO, SAUDÁVEL. Assim, todas as ações e atitudes que buscam garantir a saúde das pessoas, são AÇÕES DE SANEAMENTO

  3. MANTER A SAÚDE ! Esta é a missão do SANEAMENTO! Prevenir doenças pela prestação de serviços sanitariamente adequados, em todas as áreas da atividade humana.

  4. Abastecimento d’água Esgotamento sanitário Resíduos sólidos Drenagem Controle de vetores Urbanização Controle de poluentes Gases Líquidos Sólidos orgânicos e inorgânicos Som / ruído Drogas e outros produtos químicos Educação ambiental E QUAIS SÃO ESTES SERVIÇOS?

  5. De todos estes serviços, quais são BÁSICOS? Do ponto de vista do Homem urbano, são atividades de SANEAMENTO BÁSICO: • Abastecimento D’Água • Esgotamento Sanitário • Resíduos Sólidos (lixo) • Drenagem

  6. Resíduos sólidos (lixo) • Um problema mundial; • Uma questão da modernidade; • Um problema eminentemente local; • As questões da coleta, transporte, tratamento e disposição;
