About JNTU, Anantapur: The State Government of Andhra Pradesh through A.P. Government Act No.30 of 2008 has isolated the previous JNTU into four novel Universities viz., JNT University Anantapur, JNT University Kakinada, JNT University Hyderabad and JNA&FA University Hyderabad. The school turned into a constituent school of the shaped Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in 1972 and by and by it is a constituent school of recently framed JNT University Anantapur, Anantapur since August 2008.
