  3. IELTS FORMAT • Listening: In this section you have to listen to an audio of a native English speaker and then answer the related questions. The section will be 30 minutes long containing 40 questions. • Reading: This section is limited to 60 minutes containing 40 questions again. The candidate will read a passage and then have to answer the questions based on the passage. • Writing: This section of IELTS will test your writing abilities and contains only two questions.
