  1. 5 Packing Personalities: Which Type of Packer Are You

  2. Packing is a significant and indispensable part of travelling. Hated by some and loved by a few, this chore sings of good times that are about to come. Your bags are your essential travel companion and tell many things about you. Read on to know which type of packer you are and what your packing personality says about you. Here you go!

  3. Different Packing Personalities  The backpacker:  In the present times, when people prefer ease and convenience, backpackers are found far and few. Not many travel lovers still prefer slinging their rucksacks over their shoulders and carting off to a peaceful destination.  Mostly, backpackers are adventure enthusiasts who appear ready to trek mountains and don’t mind setting up their tent just about anywhere to gaze at the stars. Other backpacking candidates are outdoor enthusiasts, students heading off for studies, or people who have left their jobs to travel around the world.

  4. The over-packer: Over-packers are typically very precautious people with minds full of what-ifs. They consider every scenario in their brain, even the very unlikely ones, like “What if I go horse riding”, “What if I want to go out for a fancy dinner”, “What if I wished to go clubbing,” “What if my sneakers got drenched in the rain” and many more. Such people prefer to have many options and want the comfort of their home right at their disposal. Cutting out is not something they are good at, and they often require the aid of excess baggage delivery services to manage luggage at the airport.

  5. The mini bags master: Such packers start out with one small bag and plan on stuffing everything inside. They manage to fit an impressive amount of clothes in this bag and feel proud to be a pro-packer. But, then they realise they are yet to pack their shoes and skincare essentials, so they add more small bags to their luggage. By the time they are done, these packers have 5-6 mini bags. Such packers are somewhat impractical yet carefree. They are adaptable and always ready for a new adventure. The rollers: Most travel enthusiasts are typically familiar with this packing hack and swear by it. They believe rolling clothes before putting them in the suitcase mitigates wrinkles and saves space. They religiously roll shirt after shirt and denim after denim until all their clothes are tucked away tight next to one another. Mostly, the rollers are practical and careful people. They might not be travel trendsetters but have been around the world on many trips.

  6. The artists: These creative and out-of-the-box packers are inventive and love to try something new before each trip. From colour coding to rolling, they have tried all the hacks and see their bags as a blank canvas for their art.  They are never boring and see everything with a fresh eye. They enjoy every vacation detail and love giving surprises. Such packers have an exciting personality and may even amaze you with pretty spectacular pictures. Packing is not just a chore but a window into your personality. The way you pack your luggage discloses a lot about the type of person you are. So, the next time you are done packing, wait a minute before closing the zip and consider what your bag reveals about you.
