All of these diagrams are created, and updated, dynamically after the configuration information is entered into the database.     Slide 9:This is a diagram, using the workorder process. This process allows all changes to be planned in the system, while maintaining a separate production database. You can have multiple workorders active at the same time, allowing system administrators, hardware planners, or anyone else to detail the changes they are planning. You can have hardware planners documenting the cable changes, which feeds information to the system administrators to make their Operating System changes and allows the Performance Tuners to model the changes before they are made. When viewing a workorder, the changes are highlighted for easy visibility. For example, I just added a 9960 disk unit and connected it, via jumpers, to an existing patch panel. I also added jumpers from the ESCON Directors to patch panels and to the Skyline to complete the entire connection.
