  2. Profile Videos Will Soon Disappear From Facebook While most social media platforms are attempting to increase their video content, Facebook is planning to remove one video feature. As of February 7, Facebook will discontinue the use of profile videos. If users do not replace their video with a photo by then, the video's cover image will become their new profile picture.
