Journal of Case Reports and Images in dentistry Medical and Case reports in Dentistry publish dental case reports and reviews and innovative original research papers, review articles, case reports, rare and novel case reports and clinical techniques related to dentistry. The Journal covers a wide range of Medicine, Periodontics, Pedontontics, Orthodontics, Prostodontics, Endodontics, Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral- Maxillofacial Radiology, Dental Public Health, Oral Pathology and Oral Science, Related Health Sciences. The Journal of Case reports in Dentistry focuses on recent research developments in dental health for the treatment of dental problems through a variety of analytical procedures, tests and techniques. Orthodontics Orthodontics is the process of diagnosing, preventing, interrupting and correcting irregular teeth through braces. It helps in straightening of teeth. It is also known as dentofacial orthopedics. An orthodontist is a specialist who has undergone specialized training in a dental school or college after taking a dental course. The benefits of orthodontic treatment include a healthier mouth, a more pleasing appearance, and a longer life expectancy. Dental Pharmacology It is a branch of pharmacology related to the study of medicine for the treatment of dental diseases. These include oral hygiene, obstetricians, mummifying agents, cavities and medications used for periodontal disease. Common medications are antibiotics, analgesics, anti-inflammatory drugs, and anti-periodontitis agents. Dentistry is a therapeutic aid for cleaning teeth with a toothbrush.

  2. Geriatric Dentistry It is also known as gynaecologist and is especially associated with dental problems for the elderly. This includes the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of problems related to aging and age-related illnesses. Dental diseases associated with the elderly include root causes, depression, periodontal disease, tooth loss due to neglect in the past, poor quality of alveolar ridges, poor fishing dentures, mucosal lesions, oral ulcers, dry mouth, oral cancer and more.
