Honda Vario 125

In terms of functional integrity, the Honda Vario 125 outperforms its closest competitor. However, even if both use the 125 cc engine, the performance of this scooter is still not far off and it is quite competitive. Vario 125 has an advantage in terms of price. This scooter is still much cheaper than the nearest competitor. Article from https://www.autofun.co.id/motor/honda/vario-125

  1. Honda Vario 125

  2. Overview • PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has several types of automatic scooters (scooters), which are well sold in the market. One of them is the Honda Vario 125, which belongs to the mid-to-high-end market. Of course, there are several reasons to include this injection scooter in this market segment. Vario 125 also has a long history in Indonesia. This is because Vario is one of the first scooters sold by Honda in Indonesia. However, the first generation of Vario 125 was born in 2013. The latest version was launched in mid-2018.

  3. Driving and handling • Like the Vario 150, the Vario 125 also provides the same driving position. Although it is considered ergonomic, the position of the legs cannot be extended forward. In addition, some people feel that the middle legroom is too narrow. Riders with a body posture of more than 175 cm will feel uncomfortable because their knees are too close to the handlebars. However, the acceleration is not disappointing. Vario 125 can rise from 0 meters to 200 meters in 12.4 seconds. The top speed is said to reach 96 km/h.

  4. Braking and safety • In terms of braking, Honda did not equip the Vario 125 with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) brake option. The braking function embedded as a standard function is Combi Brake System (CBS) technology. Using this technology, when the driver pulls the front brake lever, the rear brake will automatically work. Therefore, braking will be maximum and driving will be safer. Although, the disc brake is only at the front. When the rear brakes, still rely on drum brakes. Speaking of safety features, Vario 125 is not equipped with a keyless smart key system. The scooter still relies on a magnetic lock cover, but has been integrated to open the seat. In addition, it is also equipped with an anti-theft alarm to reduce the risk of theft. In terms of braking, there is no anti-lock braking system (ABS) function. The Vario 125 is only equipped with the Combi Braking System (CBS) as standard.

  5. Conclusion • In terms of functional integrity, the Honda Vario 125 outperforms its closest competitor. However, even if both use the 125 cc engine, the performance of this scooter is still not far off and it is quite competitive. Vario 125 has an advantage in terms of price. This scooter is still much cheaper than the nearest competitor.
