PROBLEM STATEMENT These days global warming is getting the best of us. To keep things cold, we need a well-insulated cool box. With our invention, we believe, we have found the solution for this problem, which is an eco-friendly thermo-container.
MATERIALS USED AND THEIR FUNCTIONS 1. Mixture of sugar cane bagasse, coconut husk, saw dust and corn stalk – to make sure the inside of the eco friendly thermo container remains cold. 2. Plastic Container - outside layer - to hold the mixture of sugar cane bagasse, coconut husk, saw dust and corn stalk. - inside layer – to hold any food that we keep. 3. Screw – to make sure the cover and handles are tight. 4. Wooden handle – Easy to be carried around
FUNCTION This container can withstand more heat to keep the ice cubes for a longer period of time.
USEFULNESS AND APPLICATION 1.Good insulator – prevents the loss of heat 2.Non-toxic – natural waste organic and not by synthetic materials 3.High quality – made up of easily available agricultural waste materials 4.Easy to be produced – can collect the materials from any farm. 5.Use of polystyrene unnecessary - replace the polystyrene with agricultural waste materials. 6.Cheaper - made up of agricultural waste materials only 7.Biodegradable – can decay easily or be recycled by nature 8.Light – easy to be carried around 9.Reduces the dependence on chemicals 10.Economic gain for the country – rich countries can help poor countries which are dependant on agriculture by importing agricultural waste material.

If mass produced, the undertaking company can design a more modern outlook for the thermo containers without changing its content.
