The International Math Olympiad is a platform that helps students clear their basics, understand the concepts quickly, and learn new things. Medium English Mode of Application Offline Application Fee (General) 125 Rs [Offline] Examination Mode Offline Electrical 1 Hour Eligibility Criteria ● Class 1 to 12 students are eligible to appear for the IMO Examination. ● Class 1 to 12 students are eligible to appear for the Level 1 Examination. ● Class 3 to 12 students who have successfully passed the Level 1 examination will be eligible to appear for the Level 2 Examination. Exam Pattern SOF IMO has been developed in online proctored mode since 2020, given the pandemic. Per the official notice on the website, the test will be monitored similarly until further information. The International Mathematics Olympiad is run on two levels by the SOF, details of which are provided below. ● IMO Level 1: Test for grade 1 to 12 students. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. Students from grades 1 to 4 need to attempt 35 MCQs, while Class 5 to 12 students need to try 50 Objectives (Multiple Choice Questions). ● IMO Level 2: The second IMO level is designed for students from grades 3 to 12. The following students are considered eligible for the IMO Level 2 examination: ● School Level: Leading class in a situation where 10 or more students from the class try a level 1 and achieve a minimum of 50% marks. ● Zone / Region Level: The first 25 position managers from each class and area are considered. ● International Level: The top 5 percent of selected students, by category, from Level 1 internationally are considered. Selection Process ● The IMO selection process takes place in the Level 2 examination. Conditions for the selection process for Olympiad level 2 tests are given below: ● Level 2 IMO tests are for students from grade 3 onwards.

  3. ● According to the class, the top 5% of students, according to the Level 1 test results, were selected for Level 2 IMO exams. ● The various categories are appropriately ranked according to the marks obtained in the tests. ● The top 25 position managers (geographically intelligent) from each class are considered trained in the selection process. ● Each participating school class comes out on top with at least 10 students from the lesson coming out of the IMO Level 1 exam and earning a qualifying 50% mark. Registration Process 1. Interested Schools can participate in the Mathematics Olympiad by registering online. 2. Students can go to their subject teacher and register the same. 3. Teachers often identify the students who are good at mathematics and encourage them to participate in national and international competitions. 4. Schools can download registration forms and help students register on their official website. Syllabus The mathematics examination is conducted on the national and international level with the same syllabus for every board whether it’s CBSE, ICSE, or any other board. The syllabus includes numbers, measurements, patterns, shapes, fractions, data handling, time, algebra, trigonometry, and many more according to the classes. It increases their basic knowledge of the subject and makes them understand the concepts better and clearly. Results The question paper of the IMO is set according to the mathematics curriculum of the class of students. Each class has its own level of questions. The Level 1 result has already been issued by the SOF on March 30, 2022. You can find out the result of IMO 2021-22 on their official website.
