There are fewer awkward chat-up lines and fewer barriers to overcome, such as wading through crowded bars if you have accessibility concerns. When using the internet to find a romantic partner you can eliminate much of the awkwardness and limitations. In addition, you can get to know the person online first before meeting in person.
