What is Next ? • NMC bill in India has introduced “NEXT” to maintain uniform standard for medical education. • As per the provision of “NEXT”, the final year MBBS exam will be the entrance test for PG and licensing to practice medicine in India for Indian medical students as well as foreign medical graduates. • It will be the screening test for all medical graduates whether Indian or foreign medical graduates. • If Indian medical students fail to qualify “NEXT”, they will neither get MBBS degree nor get admissions in PG. thus, they can’t practice medicine. • If foreign medical graduates fail to qualify “NEXT”, they will not get admission in PG in India but can practice medicine in other countries. www.mediconation.com
