  2. Introduction WorldWide TEFL is a multi educational institute which offers TEFL courses, English courses for companies AND Thai culture and language courses, special for “longstay foreigners”

  3. Course explanation: • A course which includes the most important linguistic aspects of the Thai language: • speaking, listening, reading and writing • grammar, vocabulary, Thai alphabet • numbers, clock ‘work’, daily and professional use of the language

  4. Course explanation: Cultural aspects of Thai life: • religion + the Thai hierarchy • Thailand and the rest of the World • geography and geology • differences between Western and Thai cultures • Business and trade: economy

  5. Benefits: • A course in a ‘slow’ but steady pace • Any foreign language is welcome: the course is given in only Thai language • Small groups: lots of personal attention • Only 3 hours per week (Saturday’s) in the class room and max. 2 hours per week homework

  6. Benefits: • Because of the length of the course: 180 hours in approx. 1 year: • The Thai Government allows a: Non-immigrant ‘ED’ visa (multiple entry) up to 3 years (to be renewed yearly)

  7. An ‘ED’ Visa!How? • Apply for the course online (www.8host.org), or in our office in Pattaya. • Pay the amount of THB 29,500 and send/give us a copy of your passport (every page).

  8. An ‘ED’ Visa!How? 3. In about 3 weeks, we’ll send/hand you the documents needed to apply for an ED-visa in Laos, Malaysia or your home country. 4. Once returned to Thailand, visit our office again, and we’ll go for the next step: the extension of your visa after 90 days.

  9. An ‘ED’ Visa!How? 5. Once you’ve started your course, we’ll keep in touch regarding your visa and the necessary steps to be taken.

  10. An ‘ED’ Visa!How? 6. Every 90 days, you’ll have to report to the nearest Immigration for the extension of stay for another 90 days. Therefore you need documents from the Ministry of education. 7. After 1 year, you might apply for a new ED-visa.

  11. Why an ‘ED’ Visa! • It saves you every 90 days a trip to Laos or Cambodia (visa-run) • You can extend the ED-visa up to 3 years • With our ED-visa program, you’re allowed to “long stay” AND you learn everything about Thailand and the Thai language.

  12. What are the costs? • THB 29,500 for the ED-VISA program • approx. THB 8,000 for the ED-Visa • every 90 days THB 1,900 for the extension • THB 650.00 lesson materials • coffee and/or tea during the course • travel expenses

And what if? • However we do our utmost in assisting you in getting a ED-Visa, there may always be a reason to reject your visa-application • We will contact the Thai embassy/consulate directly to negotiate • If the rejection is final and beyond your and our competence we’ll refund 90% of your payment to us. info@8host.org
