  1. Admission Process of Diploma Courses in Polytechnic Colleges

  2. Diploma courses are these short-term courses with 1 or 2 years of course duration. One can get admission in diploma courses after 10th or 12th board examinations.

  3. The diploma courses offered at the best colleges in Kerala, especially polytechnic colleges, are practical-oriented courses equipping students with real-time experience on technologies.

  4. One has to clear the state-level entrance examination to get admission in Government polytechnic colleges. Whereas, the admission process of diploma courses in private polytechnic colleges takes place into two ways; merit-based and direct admission.

  5. MERIT ADMISSION The students who wish to apply for merit seats must be in touch with the college authorities to know the date of starting the application procedures. Once the applications are open, apply for the respective courses as per the choice of the student.

  6. The college authorities weigh every application received on the basis of their marks scored in 10th or equivalent examination. College authorities publish a merit list of the top-scoring applicants who can get admission in merit seat.

  7. Direct Admission The students who are seeking direct admission need not wait for the merit admission procedures to start.

  8. They can always contact college authorities and book seats beforehand, even while the student is still in 10th or 12th class or is waiting for the results. They can conveniently avoid the merit- based admission procedures and still hold a confirmed seat for the preferred diploma course.

  9. Both these modes of admission processes are seen in the best polytechnic colleges in Kerala, through which students seeking admission enrol into respective courses of their choice. Pick the right course and get quality education from reputed colleges and experienced faculties.
