  1. Organic Decaffeinated Teas May Be A Great Option Millions of cups of tea are consumed all over the world every day. Tea is one of those drinks that are enjoyed all over the world, right from Australia and Asia to the US and the UK – and elsewhere. Different varieties exist, and individuals often have their own preferences. Tea, to the connoisseur, is about more than just enjoying a lovely beverage. It also speaks to the senses; it can enhance an atmosphere and cement friendships. There are many reasons why people drink tea, and not, for example, coffee. One of the reasons most often mentioned is the fact that it contains less caffeine, even if caffeine is often seen as a stimulant with some positive effects by some. For millions of other people, caffeine is something they want to avoid; therefore they opt for products with less caffeine, such as regular tea – or a decaf product. The moment you drink decaffeinated tea, you will certainly start to experience what many likeminded individuals report: a calmer disposition and calmer you. Caffeine, because it can cause feelings of anxiousness, or broken sleep, or wreaking havoc with one’s digestive system – as well as with a person’s general energy, as reported by some – is therefore avoided by many. Tea, like coffee, contains some caffeine. This does, however, not mean you have to give up tea altogether, as there are some great, decaf options available. Many of these you can buy at shopping malls, while a few good websites also have good choices available. And what is more: some of them market not only decaffeinated tea, but a decaf variety that is organically grown and, therefore, pure of chemicals and additives. The person that wants to make 100% sure they do not expose their bodies to possibly harmful and unpleasant situations and conditions may, therefore, be interested in such products by leading suppliers. The decaffeinated tea is not always that easily available, but with some research you will soon find out where to get it. Even though it is not possible to remove absolutely every trace of caffeine during decaffeination, a good decaf tea will have at least 97% less caffeine, which makes it almost totally negligible. However, there are, indeed, a few naturally caffeine-free teas, i.e. herbal teas such as, say, ginger tea, hibiscus tea, lemon balm tea and chamomile tea. For the rest, such as black tea, chai and green tea, they are teas that we enjoy every day when we sit back with a cup – and we can enjoy them as a decaf option too. And even better if they are organically grown. There are ways in which tea can be decaffeinated, such as, for example, with chemical solvents – which the follower of organic agriculture may not like. Other methods that are used, for instance, include a process with water, infused with CO2 in high-pressure tanks. This method is the most widely used one among the options. Another option is to remove the caffeine with hot water, but this is rarely used since it does not reduce the caffeine as successfully as the other two methods.

  2. A very popular decaf tea that you can order from leading online stores is the decaf green tea. It is reported to be full of goodness and antioxidants and can be enjoyed throughout the day. They are often sold in tea bag form, making it easy to place in a cup and pour hot water over and let it stand for a few minutes. To this you can add milk if you want to, or have it as is. Either way it is a great option, and those people that want to enjoy decaf – go out and get yourself a lovely green tea, decaffeinated. Or for that matter, any other decaf tea, and preferably organically grown.
