  1. Cam Caddie Focus Focus is the clarity of detail in animage. It should be clear and sharplydefined. The image on the leftis “out-of-focus”. The image on theright is“in-focus”.

  2. Cam Caddie Exposure Exposure is the amount of light the image sensor captures when taking aphoto. Exposurecontrol: Overexposure Too much light will wash out the color and make it toobright. Underexposure Not enough light will make it too dark. Aperture ISOspeed Shutterspeed

  3. Cam Caddie Shutterspeed The shutter speed controls the duration of the exposure, or how long the lightwill be able to enter the camera. A faster shutter speed will enablea photographer to capturemovement.

  4. Cam Caddie Aperture Aperture is the “opening” or “closing” of the lens to controlthe amount of light entering the camera. It is the aperture that determines a photo’s “depthof field” (range of distance in which objects appear in sharp focus.) Aperture ismeasured in f-stopnumbers.

  5. Cam Caddie ISOspeed ISO determines how sensitive the camera is to incominglight. A low ISOwill produce a higher quality image. Thefuzziness is known as “noise”.
