  1. Let’s go green in this Ganesh Chaturthi Let’s go green in this Ganesh Chaturthi Ganesh Chaturthi is one of those traditional Hindu festivals that are celebrated with great spiritual devotion and grand fervor. People rejoice during this festival from the installation of a majestic idol of Lord Ganesha to the immersion accompanied by a long procession, devotional dancing, and singing. Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated throughout the whole country with different rituals and different manners. In some places people get indulged in competition regarding how beautifully one can arrange the entire festival in terms of pandal decoration, bringing a larger and impressive Ganesh idol, organizing different cultural programs, and so on. To add more to it, quite naturally, people go for idols that are made of non-biodegradable POP (Plaster of Paris). The reason behind preferring a POP- made idol is it is light in weight and can mold easily. But these POP-made idols cause unavoidable water pollution which drags the life of aquatic-organisms in danger. Without harming our mother-nature we can enjoy the festivity of Ganesh Chaturthi by worshipping idols of Lord Ganesha which are completely biodegradable. Instead of using chemical colors idol can be made with organic eco-friendly colors. Traditionally, to make eco-friendly Ganesh idols people use natural clay which heightens devotional fervor. But any kind of recycled material can be used. Nowadays edible green ingredients are being used innovatively which are becoming a new vogue. The creators are making idols that are made out of flowers, banana leaves, coconut, betel leaf, and other natural products. Many online platforms provide us with massive assortments of bio-degradable Ganesh idols. Therefore to save our earth let’s order eco-friendly Ganesha online in this Ganesh Chaturthi.
