  1. Eco friendly Ganesh Idols Ganesh Chathurthi is approaching, and devotees all over the world are eagerly buying Ganesh idols. Traditionally, these idols have been made of Plaster of Paris (PoP), which is not biodegradable. And the paint used to make them pretty is poisonous to marine life. With this in mind, many organisations and individuals strive to make the festival as environmentally sustainable as possible. They've been coming up with new ways to create idols that aren't harmful to the environment. Here are four reasons why Eco friendly Ganesha idols are the best choice: ●One major disadvantage of Ganesh idols is that they are made of Plaster of Paris (PoP), which does not degrade easily and can result in serious consequences such as contaminated water. They not only keep the water clean and healthy, but they also help to keep pests like mosquitoes at bay. ●These dyes, which are widely used to color Ganesha idols made of PoP, can be harmful to you and your family in addition to the risks mentioned above. Apart from that, the glitter that is frequently used to give the idol the extra sparkle can rub off on your hands and clothes. When inhaled, this glitter can damage your lungs, induce a burning sensation in your eyes, and even cause allergies in some people. An eco- friendly Ganesh idol, on the other hand, faces none of these dangers. ●Magnesium, gypsum, arsenic, and sulfur are among the chemicals contained in PoP. When these idols are submerged in common water bodies such as the sea, rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water, they become polluted with high levels of metal and other chemicals, killing fish and plants that live in the water. The best thing about

  2. owning an environmentally friendly Ganesh idol is that you can make it yourself. You can need some assistance at first, but creating your own idol will later be a lot of fun. Source Link:- https://ganeshchaturthicelebrationmeg.blogspot.com/2021/05/eco-friendly- ganesh-idols.html
