Does generic Viagra work just like regular Viagra

Sildenafil is used to treat male sexual function problems (impotence or erectile dysfunction-ED). In combination with sexual stimulation, sildenafil works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help a man get and keep an erection. This drug does not protect against sexually transmitted diseases (such as HIV, hepatitis B, gonorrhea, syphilis). Practice "safe sex" such as using latex condoms. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details.

  3. Viagra is the brand name for a medicine known as sildenafil which has been proven to be effective for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The generic drug contains the same active ingredient as the branded drug, in this case sildenafil citrate, and is therapeutically equivalent to the branded medicine Viagra. • The main difference between a branded and a generic product is mainly price, with the generic usually being cheaper. • More about Viagra: • Viagra is in a class of impotence drugs known as the phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5) inhibitors and was the first approved to treat ED. Viagra causes an erection by increasing blood flow to the penis in response to sexual stimulation. Arousal allows the muscles in and around the penis to relax and results in greater blood flow. Viagra does not result in an erection without sexual stimulation. Viagra and other PDE5 inhibitors treat ED, but do not directly increase a man's sexual desire. However, knowing that one can perform better in bed may indirectly boost libido.

  4. OPERATING PRINCIPLE • Under the influence of stimulating external factors in the vessels of the cavernous bodies of the penis, nitric oxide begins to be produced. This substance triggers a cascade of biochemical reactions that are aimed at relaxing the vascular wall and increasing blood flow. But all these reactions are impossible without another substance – cGMP, which directly interacts with the muscle fibers of the vascular wall cells. • The higher the cGMP level, the stronger the erection will be. The level of cGMP in the corpora cavernosa is significantly influenced by the enzyme PDE-5 that breaks it down. Sildenafilum inhibits PDE-5 and leads to an increase in cGMP levels, thereby creating all the conditions for the development of a full erection. • PDEs of various types are also present in the vascular wall, lungs, retina, heart, brain, and skeletal muscles. The effect of sildenafilum on these forms of the enzyme is weaker than on PDE-5, but it is this fact that determines all the possible side effects from taking it. • INDICATIONS • Viagra is indicated for: • Erectile dysfunction of organic or psychological origin; • Pulmonary hypertension. • CONTRAINDICATIONS • Viagra is absolutely contraindicated for: • Individual intolerance to vardenafil; • Reception of nitrates, natrate-like products and nitric oxide donors; • Under the age of 16. Act. • Relative contraindications: Taking antiviral (indavirinum, ritonavirum), antifungal agents (ketoconazolum, itraconazolum), antibiotic erythromycinum; • Taking any drugs with a vasodilating effect (α-blockers (prazosinum, doxazosinum, etc.), Ca2 + channel blockers (nifedipinum, amlodipinum, etc.), ACE inhibitors (lisinoprilum, enalaprilum, etc.), angiotensin receptor blockers (valsartanum, candesartanum, etc.), magnesium sulfate, etc.); • Chronic liver or kidney pathology; • Deformation of the penis, congenital or acquired character; • Diseases of the cardiovascular system; • Hereditary and acquired diseases of the retina; • Tendency to priapism; • Increased risk of bleeding.

  5. SIDE EFFECTS • Taking sildenafilum causes adverse reactions in more than 17% of men. The use of Viagra may be accompanied by: • Pain in the head; • Dizziness; • Redness of the face; • Violation of nasal breathing; • Increased sensitivity to light and color distortion; • Pain in skeletal muscles, back; • Disorders from the digestive system; • Priapism. • INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE • Viagra in the form of tablets for oral administration of 25, 50 or 100 mg is taken once 2 to 3 hours before the expected intimacy. The tablet should not be divided or chewed, it should be washed down with a little water. • Dispersible (soluble in the mouth) 50 mg tablets should be placed under the tongue and dissolve without swallowing or drinking water, 15 to 20 minutes before intercourse. • It is undesirable to take more than one tablet per day. Cannot be combined with other drugs to increase potency, containing PDE-5 inhibitors (vardenafilum, tadalafilum, etc.).
