  1. Choosing the Right Books for your Kindergarten Kindergarten is the foundation class for a child. The mind of a kid is growing rapidly during these years, which brings us to the topic of the importance of having the right curriculum for schools. There are lots of books for kindergarteners available, but not all will help in meeting the learning objects. It is important for schools not to overlook the key role that books and curriculum play in a child’s overall development. Having said, let’s look at some of the factors to consider while choosing Kindergarten books. Language Since children are recognizing and learning letters in Kindergarten, it is important that the language in these books is simple and clear. There should be short sentences in the books made of two or three-syllable words. Books that emphasize on rhyming words are often a good choice. Design The design of the book is also important because children are fascinated by colors and patterns. To make the book look interesting, it is important to pay attention to the design element. There should be colonel pictures and illustrations on every page and there shouldn’t be more than three sentences. Also, the book should not have more than 50-60 pages, the child might find the bag too heavy to carry. Activity-based Activity-based books are more successful at getting the interest of a child and increasing their retention power. Have some activity-based books in the curriculum so that the child doesn’t’t get bored with the same learning pattern and enjoys the class. That’ ’s Not All Introducing theme-based books in the curriculum for schools can help a child relate to things present in the surroundings. There are books on ‘Animals’, ‘Daily activities’, ‘vehicles’, and many more themes. Many customized curriculum and book providers such as Nature Nurture have these learning materials in abundance. So, shortlist what you want for Kindergarten children and make learning fun for the little wonders.
