Trauma, intensive care is the branch of medicine. Many hospitals have a section that deals with the diagnosis and management of those patients who are in critical situations.   1. Trauma Centers: Where every patient gets the best treatment for critical injuries Trauma, intensive care is the branch of medicine. Many hospitals have a section that deals with diagnosis and management of those patients who are in critical situations. Trauma center is one of the important sections of a hospital that is regarded as a ‘Life Saver’. Sometimes it is called casualty department. Various high risk injuries such as car/motor vehicle crash, major burns and other injuries are treated at these trauma centers. These centers are outfitted with high technological medical equipments, ventilation facilities, wide range of drugs and trained health professionals to handle critical condition patients. Some of the kinds of treatments that are offered by such trauma care centers are: Non-invasive and invasive ventilation 24x7 examinations of critical or injured patients Assistance and providing life support treatments to those patients who are having organ failure After treatment care to critically ill or surgical patients Retrieval services (CPR) Trauma centers are categorized in various levels. Level-I is regarded as the highest level. While Level –III is the lowest one. Some of the hospitals have even Level-V. The highest level of Trauma centers provides high degree and specialist medical treatment and care while lower level of the centers offers initial care in case of traumatic injuries. Surgeons,

Level II work in coordination with the level-I and provide 24 hours necessary equipments and specialists. Emergencies and critical condition can happen anytime and having a well developed trauma care centers ensures that a patient can received a good treatment and recover properly. Presence of trauma care centers at different locations helps and gives a better access to the medical facilities in case of emergency.
