BCCI sold the Media rights of the Indian Premier League for TV and Digital at a staggering amount of INR 48,390 crore to two different enterprises. The third day held the auction for the ?nal two Packages, C and D. It consisted of eighteen game non-exclusive rights in the Indian Subcontinent and the worldwide rights for both Television and Digital. Relianceshared with Viacom18 picked up Package C, whereas Viacom18 andTimes partnered for World rights of IPL. Disney- Star bought Package A at INR 23,575 crore, and Viacom18 took Package B and C at INR 23,758 crore. Package D was purchased, in partnership between Viacom18 and Reliance at INR 1,300 crore. Jay Shah Tweeted The auction ended with a total collection of INR 48,390 crore, making it the second-largest bidding for any national league. The IPL saw a three times increase since the last bidding held in 2017.
