  1. Warm & Creamy Deep-fried Oreos for the Weekend! Not Deep-fried Oreos, the American dessert which is loaded with beautiful creamy flavors of the classic Oreos. It’s made with the most basic ingredients and guaranteed to impress just about everyone, savouring down smoothly with every bite you take. Crispy outside, creamy at the first bite and melty in your mouth, fried Oreos are definitely going to remind you of your childhood tour to the carnivals and fair. Here we’ll be preparing a very decent version of fried Oreos that’ll require just minimal ingredients and taste just like you’ve imagined. Who founded Deep-fried Oreos? It’s an invention of a 16-year old Armenin, Charlie Boghosian who later settled in the United States. He claimed to fry everything and he actually did. He was also known by the name of “Chicken Charlie’s.” He started his frying magic in the 2004 County Fair at Los Angeles where he used frozen Oreos, dipped in batter and deep-fried. Since then, these heavenly snacks hit the market by a storm and huge crowds used to gather for his fried stuff. Many people adopted the same recipe and now it has become one of the most popular dessert snacks of America. Not just Oreos, he also fried chicken, pickles, chips, fish, Twinkies, hot dogs, ice cream, butter, bacon and whatever you can imagine. The reason, he was also named as the “Man who fry everything.”

  2. Quick Recipe to Fry Oreos Under this recipe, we’ll be using just a few ingredients such as Oreos Mix, water, vegetable oil, powdered sugar, Oreos and topping as per required. So, let’s get started! Step 1: Heat 3 inches of vegetable oil in a medium heavy-bottomed pot over medium- high heat. A candy thermometer will register 350F. Step 2: In a bowl, add Oreos mix and water. Whisk till smooth and thick. It should resemble double-cream. If it’s too thick, add water tablespoon by tablespoon till you get the right consistency. Step 3: Dip frozen Oreos one by one in the batter and coat them thoroughly to prevent splattering when put in hot oil. Step 4: Test the oil by scooping a tiny drop of batter, if it sizzles and floats to the top, consider it done. Step 5: Carefully transfer coated Oreos to the Oil and fry for a minute or so. To avoid letting them burn, turn upside down frequently until browned and crisp. Step 6: Drain them on the paper towels, dust them with powdered sugar, and serve warm with chocolate syrup, raspberry jam or a scoop of your favorite ice cream. 5 Important Tips You Need To Master While Preparing these: Cook on medium heat to ensure browning. 375 degrees is the right temperature. The Oreos need to be frozen in advance before completely dipping into the batter. Use oils with high-smoke point such as vegetable oil, peanut oil or canola oil. Avoid overcrowding, 5-6 Oreos in a batch are enough. Avoid adding too much water at first while preparing the batter. It shouldn’t be thin or even too thick. Summary Making deep-fried Oreos is pretty straight-forward. Basically, you prepare the batter using a complete mix and water, dip the Oreos in it, fry and a crunchy exterior with a melt-in-your-mouth interior comes out. If frying them was in your bucket list ever since lockdown, execute them the coming weekend, and enjoy with your family while watching your favorite series. So when are you planning to make these classic snacks at home? We cannot wait to hear about your first frying experience with our recipe. Share pictures and opinions in the comment section below.
