  2. Introduction • In sir lanka people urban transport has increased remarkably over the past few years. Due to the increase in traffic demand these impacts negatively affect the economic development in country. • In this survey we are collected data for analyze what are the peoples most commonly using transport systems and there affect to the urban areas.

  3. Methodology Methodology is the system of methods used in a research . There are two type of data that can use in a research. They are, • Qualitative Data • Quantitative Data Quantitative data is more valid than the qualitative data in a research. In this research we have used quantitative data. There are some methods of collecting quantitative data. There are , • Surveys • Questionnaires • Interviews We conducted a Questionnaires to collect data for this research.

  4. Data Collection • The data was collected by using Google form . In current situation we don’t have a collect data by manual method . • As a solution we shared the Google form link and got the information trough it.

  5. Data analysis and findings • The transport mode are categorized into 6 major vehicle types as car , taxi,motocycle,threee-wheeler,bus,railway and non-motorized travels.the non-motorized travel was considered as active transportation while bus and railway were considered as public transportation while passenger cars ,motocycle,three-wheeler and taxi were considered as individual motorized vehicles. • 38% people made by public transport and 20% non-motorized transports and the 42% peoples are made by there private transport .

  9. Conclusion & Recommendation • When we conceder those data collection we can see clearly most people use private transport in this time period. That is 42% this percentage so good in this covid 19 time period . Then we can decrees breed of virus. But if we consider normal day .this one is not so good because mean of decrease private vehicle usage , decrease pollution in the country. Then when we consider non-motorized that category both friendly above both side.
