Rats have 64 species worldwide. They are characterized by their habit of constant gnawing to ensure their ever-growing pair of upper and lower teeth is kept to a manageable length. Rats are in existence for over thirteen million years ago and have gone through various stages of evolution. They can be found everywhere – in homes, buildings, sewers, gardens, harbors, boats, and any kind of shelter. Rats are known to be social animals, which take care of each other, have sharp memories of the paths they tread, and work in harmony as a team. One of the worst nightmares you can have is rat infestation in your space. Rat infestation is a nuisance not only because rats are known to carry lot of diseases but they also cause heavy financial damage. If you spot more than a couple of rats, you should realize the problem might be beyond your control.
