Oscar Albayalde joined the police force in 1986 and was selected to lead the National Capital Region Police Force in 2016. Oscar Albayalde was personally selected for this role by the Chief of the Philippine National Police as a result of his hard work on the operations on which he was involved.

Oscar Albayalde also made the Dean's list, Academics list, and the Superintendent's list as a result of his exceptional work in the classroom.
Executive Officer-Directorate Philippine Constabulary Special Action Force in 1986 and went on to hold roles such as the Chief of the United Nations Peacekeeping Operation Center and the Executive Officer-Directorate for Plans in Camp Crame.
