1. A Great Place for Hiking near the Beach Hiking is the best way of exercise to me. The reason is, it burns your fat without making you stressed. I love hiking and I go to different places to hike. I have a group of friends, with them I to go hike whenever we get free time. Last time, we went to Manzanita beach for hiking. I am going to share that experience with you. All of you know that Manzanita beach is a very beautiful one. The place is awesome and perfect for all beach goers. Manzanita rentals, hotels, and lodges are there to offer a good stay. Besides that, Manzanita restaurants, bakery, winery also serve the visitor with their delicious foods. The people who go there usually love to get outside for enjoying the beauty of the Oregon coast. We also got outside to see the beautiful nature of the Oregon coast. We went to Oswald West State Park that is only 2.3 miles north of Manzanita Beach. It is a forest and rugged beaches covering 2,448 acres. It was named after Oswald West, the 14th Governor of Oregon. He was a great man who took the lead to preserve this Oregon beach for the public. The shores of Oswald West State Park were assigned as the Cape Falcon Marine Reserve on January 1, 2016 protecting the shoreline and around two miles out into the Pacific.
