  1. When Do We Need A Sleep Study Test In Delhi? Sleep is the test in Delhi or study performed on someone, who is asleep. Hence, it's conjointly called the sleep study. Sleep is essentially done to observe sleeping disorders. Sleep records the subsequent while a patient is asleep: ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Breathing cycle (respiration) Heart rate Level of oxygen within the blood Brain waves Muscle tone Leg Movements Eye movements A Sleep test could also be performed at a sleep center or in a very special area within the hospital. The patient is typically asked to come back within the late evening for the Sleep test, to record the varied sleep patterns while the patient is asleep. the whole method of Sleep is being monitored and so analyzed by a practiced sleep specialist. A sleep test typically records the patient’s body shifts between a pair of phases. That is speedy eye movement (REM) and Non-rapid eye movement (NREM). Non-rapid eye movement is divided into a pair of stages: ● ● Light sleep Deep sleep The standard method of Sleep starts once the patient falls asleep and this stage is thought a Non-REM. throughout this section of sleep, the activity of the brain of the patient is recorded. As this section passes, the activity of the brain bit by bit decreases. And the brain waves are noted by Electroencephalography (EEG). The movement of the eyes isn't abundant throughout this stage as compared to the later stage. After a few hours, the brain starts turning active once more and therefore the patient enters the REM stage of sleep. individuals principally dream throughout this stage. And someone with no sleep disorders can shift between Non-REM to REM innovate each a pair of hours, having four to six sleep cycles every night. The sleep specialist rigorously monitors the body reactions and therefore the sleep cycles of the patient, and hence, observes any disruptions within the sleep pattern. The doctor may advise a Sleep test in Delhi if any of the subsequent conditions are observed: Unusual behaviours – The doctor may advise Sleep if there are any uncommon behavior complaints with the patient. For instance- cadent movements, touring, or walking loads. Narcolepsy – This is often a condition during which a patient feels loads of temporary states throughout the day with abrupt onset of sleep.

  2. Sleep apnea – If a patient has apnea or other breathing disorder associated with sleep, the test is typically prescribed by the doctor. The respiratory of the patient stops and starts repeatedly, during this sleep condition. REM sleep behaviour issues – This is often a condition or a disorder during which someone starts acting out the dreams. This abnormality typically happens within the REM stage. Limb movements – this is often upset, whereby someone involuntarily extends and flexes the legs whereas he/she is asleep. This cyclic limb movement is associated with restless leg syndrome. Unexplained sleep disorder – This is often upset, during which someone isn't ready to take a sound sleep or wakes up ofttimes throughout sleep. this is often conjointly called chronic sleep disorder.
