TheProcess ofRenewingaTradeLicensein Dubai Itismandatoryfor everybusinessestablishmentinDubaito have atradelicence.The DepartmentofEconomicDevelopment(DED)isresponsible for issuingaswell asrenewing tradelicenceinDubai. The tradelicence needsto berenewedonan annualbasisandtheprocessisquite simple. Youmustsubmityourtradelicence renewalapplicationatleast30 daysbefore itexpires,oryou maybecharged alate feeofAED200permonth (excluding anyexternalpenaltiesthatmay apply). There are nearly 50 free zones in the UAE, and each has its own requirements for renewing a tradelicence. Step2:Once you havelogged in,youwillseethemaindashboard.Onthe dashboard,youwill findthe‘Licences’tab.Clickonthattab andthenselectthe‘RenewLicence’option. Step 3:You willnowberedirectedtoapage whereyouwillberequiredtoselectyourtrade licencetype.Selectthe appropriate optionand thenclickon the‘Next’button. Step 4: On the next page, you will be required to enter your trade licence number as well as your Emirates ID number. After you have input the requested information, press the ‘Search’ button. Step5:You will nowseeallthedetailsofyourtradelicenceonthescreen.Reviewthosedetails carefullyandmakesurethateverythingisaccurate.Onceyou havedone that,clickonthe ‘RenewLicence’button. Step6:Onthe nextpage,youwillbeaskedtoconfirmyourrenewlicence request. Onceyou haveconfirmedthat,clickonthe‘ProceedtoPayment’button. Step 7:You willnowberedirected tothepaymentportalwhereyoucanmake thepaymentfor yourtradelicencerenewalusingacreditcard oradebitcard. Step8:Oncethe paymenthasbeen made,youwillreceive aconfirmationemailfromDEDwith all thedetailsofyour renewedtradelicence. The followingdocumentsarerequiredforrenewingatrade licence inDubai: Ejari registration-, You will need a registration certificate from Ejari to start or operate a business in Dubai. If you do not have an approved tenancy certificate from Ejari, you will be fined. Validpassportandvisacopies-Originalpassport andvalidvisacopies oftheownerand employeesarerequiredforatradelicencerenewal. MemorandumofAssociation/PartnershipAgreement- Thisdocumentshouldbesigned by allpartnersinvolvedintheestablishmentofthebusiness. Tradenameregistration- Thisdocumentshouldberegistered withtheDubaiDepartmentof EconomicDevelopment. TenancyContract-Thisdocumentisrequiredtoprove thatyouhave avalidrental agreementinplaceforthebusinesspremises.

  3. No ObjectionCertificate(NOC)- AnNOCmayberequiredfrom your landlord or the Building Owner’sAssociation. TradeLicenseRenewalFee- Therenewalfeevariesaccording to thetypeoflicence and the number ofbranches.
