  1. What Is the Difference between Commercial Interior Painting and Residential Exterior Painting? Commercial Interior painting includes painting commercial properties such as office buildings, commercial kitchens, restaurants, hotels or high-end (shops). The biggest difference between Commercial Interior Painting and Residential exterior painting is that in the commercial interior the paint must be more durable because it will be used on a daily basis. The paint also has to be much easier to clean off of carpets and upholstery. However, on the residential exterior, there aren't any couches or carpets to worry about putting down. Residential Exterior painting is mainly for residential houses with wood siding. It usually involves painting the front and back of a house. The most important factors to consider when choosing a paint colour are the light in your home and the light colour you want on your siding. Try to match your paint colour with your light. This will help make the house look more uniform, and better insulated and will reduce energy loss and maintenance costs. Insurance Painting is a type of painting that the insurance company of your home will pay for after a house fire. Insurance painters are more commonly used on homes with wood siding to replace the dry rotted wood on the outside of the house. The paint will generally have to be changed more often because of its exposure to moisture, but it's highly recommended as an alternative for wood siding and will make your home look brand new. This method can help prevent the chipping and peeling that comes with normal removal methods and usually requires less prep work. Most people would believe that Commercial Interior Painting is harder or takes more skill than Residential Exterior Painting, but this isn't true if you know what to do when painting and you have all of the proper tools for this type of painting.
