  1. https://pawsnfurr.com Caging Cats And Understanding The Need For It. Cage isn't a jail Let’s tick it off the list. No, pet cats are not put into jails for poor behavior. Putting a pet cat into the cage isn’t a punishment. A cat cage is more of a cat home. It depends on the cat, but if she/he loves it, then the cage can become their safe haven. Cats like to roam freely and don’t like being caged. Yes, that's there. Cats like to roam and explore their surroundings and laze around in every possible place. Cats actually cannot be caged for long periods of time since they need to drain their energy and keep active just like us humans. However, using cages is a way of taming and training pet cats. Why are cats put in a cage? Cats are put into a cage for reasons that are justifiable and good for the owner as well as the pet. They are as follows: 1.Litter training: Cats that are not trained or don’t use the litter box well are usually put in a cage to provide training. This also helps keep the apartment clean as otherwise there could be litter in places you have never hoped to find it. 2.Enclosed: If guests are to come over, the cat can be put in a cage to feel safe and be away from the human crowd. And also, to avoid any embarrassing situations that are uncomfortable to both. 3.Personal territory: Let us say you are getting a new roommate or are moving into a new home. A pet cat needs to feel familiar to its surroundings, and hence a cage can be used to give that sense of familiarity. 4.Overnight: It is best for some cats to be kept away in a cage overnight. This allows the owner as well as the cat to sleep peacefully and undisturbed.

This helps their body rest and allows them to be idle. 6.Separation: In a multi-cat household, cages come handy. If a new cat is introduced, the cage lessens the threat they feel. It also protects the shy cat and keeps them separate. The cat that falls sick can be put in a cage, so the other one doesn’t fall sick. 7.Pregnancy: After a cat delivers, the cat and kittens must all stay together. And for that a cage is the best. The cat is tired and will need that space and rest to recover. Cages and carriers are different. How to choose the right cage? Yes, carriers and cages are different. But if your cat is uncomfortable in a carrier and hates being in it, that doesn't necessarily mean that they will hate the cage too. Carriers are small and confined spaces. Whereas a cage is meant to be big. It has water and food and also contains a litter box. Some cages come with toys and levels too.

  3. https://pawsnfurr.com Choosing the right cage means choosing a mini-bedroom for your pet cat. It should have enough space for her to stretch and sleep. She must feel comfortable in it eventually, if not immediately. The cage shouldn't feel like a trap. For cozy and spacious cat cages in Kuwait, checkout our online pet stuff store in Kuwait. How to avoid the cage situation? Many owners don’t like the cage and are frightened of it more than their cat. While others can’t get their cats to use the cage. Either way there are a few things to alternate the cage with. ●Personal space: Some owners provide their cats with a separate bedroom or closed space. This way the cats have a bigger space to be kept confined in. The bedroom gives more floor to creative and playful toys. ●Spaying: Spaying is important as it reduces unwanted behavior. The cat could be acting paranoid and difficult to handle because they haven’t been spayed. ●Litter training: Cats can’t hold their urge for long, and hence must be litter trained. If they are trained well, then you might not have to use the cage anymore. That being said, introducing a cat to a cat cage or a personal space is a slow process for some and fast for others. You have to be patient through it and give your cat all the time they require. You can possibly start with just making them enter the cage and letting them come out on their own and slowly increase it to an overnight stay.
