Technology savvy people would call it IoT lighting solutions. There is a swift takeover of the market with this technology nowadays; homes and offices are quickly beginning to experience the use of artificial intelligence in everyday life. What Is IoT IoT translates as the Internet of Things. In simple terms, this is a group of objects or ‘things’ into a single network of operations. Use of various software tools and technological applications along with devices and equipment is used for this functional use of the network for a specific purpose or activity. The Use Of IoT In Lighting Normally we are used to light fixtures that have a holder and a light within them. There is a network of wires connecting different lights in a room to a switchboard. This board has switches for respective lights and is used to monitor them – switch on and switch as per requirement. This process is largely a physical one that requires a person to be present to carry out the operations in a room or a premise. In the scheme of things with the use of IoT in lighting arrangements this has undergone a complete change. There is no use of wired connectivity in this new and innovative design The use of wireless switches is directly connected to the light fixtures which are entirely wireless The light fixtures are connected to a network instead of the switchboard This network can be managed with cloud control A person may not be present on a premise but can control the lights and the illumination levels Benefits There are several benefits of the use of the LED Interact system of lighting solutions.
