According to the Ministry of Industry and Tradeu2019s Import-Export Department, Vietnam exported over 41,000 tonnes of pepper worth 129 million USD in the first two months of the current year, a 35% increase in volume but a 7.4% decrease in value compared to the same period in 2022.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Import-Export Department, Vietnam exported over 41,000 tonnes of pepper worth 129 million USD in the first two months of the current year, a 35% increase in volume but a 7.4% decrease in value compared to the same period in 2022. Price For Vietnamese Pepper Price For Vietnamese Pepper In February 2023, the average export price for Vietnamese spices was 3,059 USD per tonne, down 11.1% from the previous month and 32.8% from the previous year. Its average export price during the reviewed period was 3,177 USD per tonne, down 31.4% from the same time last year. Due to rising demand from the Chinese market, black and white pepper prices on the domestic market rose significantly in February.
