  3. Global Biofuel Alliance • Founded by India, Brazil, and the United States, responsible for 85% of global ethanol production, this international initiative promotes cooperation in the biofuel sector. It aims to reshape global energy landscape and achieve net-zero emissions.

  4. Membership • Core members include India, Brazil, and the United States. Other nations can join by endorsing its foundational document. Currently, 19 additional countries like Italy, Kenya, and the UAE express interest. Membership includes countries, partner organizations, and industries, fostering collaboration for biofuel progress.

Global Biofuel Alliance Objectives: • Enhance Global Collaboration: Foster worldwide cooperation to encourage the use of biofuels. • Develop Strong Biofuel Markets: Create robust markets and facilitate international biofuel trade. • Promote Sustainable Transport: Encourage eco-friendly biofuels for transportation. • Offer Policy Guidance: Provide support and knowledge-sharing for national biofuel programs. • Showcase Best Practices: Highlight successful biofuel case studies and practices. • Cooperate with Global Initiatives: Collaborate with existing organizations focused on bioenergy, bioeconomy, and energy transition to amplify global efforts.
