  1. How Technology will Influence Digital Marketing Technology and Digital Marketing As the name suggests, digital marketing is all about marketing on digital platforms. Since there would be no digital world without technology, digital marketing and technology are closely related. Digital marketing evolves with the evolution of technology. We know how the digital world is changing with speed. To keep up with this speed of technology, digital marketing also has to change. With such changes in the market, we also see that these changes bring variety too. For example, earlier we only had a marketing agency, now we have many different kinds like a social media marketing agency, performance marketing agency, mobile marketing agency, etc. All these agencies serve a great purpose according to the demands of the market. Technology has evolved marketing by making marketing campaigns very personalized. Now we have systems that are more integrated and targeted. It is not only that the equation between brands and the public has changed. Technology has also changed how companies are now being built and work. Now that we have discussed the relationship between technology and marketing, let us have a look at what are these marketing technologies exactly, and how they are changing. Marketing technologies can be divided into two categories broadly, marketing communication and marketing operations. Marketing communication technologies help marketers to create, deliver, and asses messages that reach target customers. These technologies include email, SMS, social media, web publishing, and advertising. Marketing operations technologies help organizations to track customer interactions with their brands, products, and services. These technologies include web analytics, customer relationship management software (CRM), call center software, and performance measurement systems. Development in marketing communication technologies As for the development in marketing communication technologies, chatbots are now a thing. Now companies use an automatic chatbot to provide services to their customers. Some examples of such technologies are Siri and Google Assistance. Now we can see that as social media and advertising are rapidly evolving, video marketing works much more effectively than traditional marketing. Therefore, all the marketing technologies are now more video-focused and creating content accordingly.

Development in marketing operations technologies Digital marketing is known for its various strategies, such as Search Engine Optimization, Social Media Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Content Marketing, etc. These strategies, when applied properly, work wonders for the companies and help them grow tremendously. There is always so much going on in digital marketing and it is always undergoing some changes. For example, Google keeps getting smarter and doesn't let you just stuff your SEO with a keyword again and again. Staying visible on search engine result pages is the aim of Search engine optimization (SEO). We can see that Google’s algorithms are constantly evolving. Keeping up with these changes is hard and adapting your SEO to these changes and keeping up with the competition is the real challenge. The partnership between marketing and technology To understand the new technology and how to apply it to their brands and products, marketers need the assistance of their companies' technology and information. Now it's not hard for marketers to collect data about their clients but the tricky part is to use it well. NEW TRENDS IN TECHNOLOGY ● The most notable technology trends are Augmented reality and virtual reality, especially in e-commerce. These AR and VR services make the shopping experience more immersive. ● Another trend that is gaining popularity nowadays is visual search. Which is, as the name suggests, searching on the web using pictures. Instead of typing keywords into a search engine now people upload a photo and get search results. Google lenses have now become an elementary part of every smartphone. Therefore just by uploading a picture or taking a picture on the spot one can search for the exact same results online. ● Now social media acts as a shopping website. When we click on certain posts we can see the price of the item that is presented in the post and then we can complete the purchase on another website that we are redirected to.There are social media marketing companies who can help your brand create these new trends. ● Apps like the Facebook manager and WhatsApp provide a communication bridge for the company to discuss their products and services.
