  1. Baptisms of the New Testament Some have foolishly affirmed: “I contend that baptism is necessary for salvation.” What baptism? Vine states regarding the noun rendered baptism the following: “baptisma ‘baptism,’ consisting of the processes of immersion, submersion and emergence….”

  2. Baptisms of the New Testament There are essentially seven baptisms mentioned in the New Testament. We shall briefly examine each, noticing the pertinent, identifying facts of each.
