Firstly, you should check your eligibility to ensure that youmeet the requirements to apply for a travel grant. To apply for a travel grant, you should provide the following information: Nominee’s name, institution, postal address, and email address. Nominator’s name, institution, postal address, and emailaddress. Nominee’s CV or resume Brief statement of support written by thenominator. Brief statement of interest written by the nominee. Proposed travelbudget. Paper describing the research to be presented at themeetings Eligible nominators will vary by institution, and you should always check with the institution where you are applying for a travel grant for their specific criteria. The list above is an example of commonly required application materials. Do not forget to thoroughly review the application requirements before applying fora travelgrant. Review the itinerary of the conference or event that you wish to attend. While applying for a travel grant, make sure to clearlystate that and specify how it will help you in your career. Pay careful attention to your budget and simultaneously account for the fact that most travel grants will not cover all of your expenses.
