  1. Time to Opt for Heart Healthy Lifestyle!

  2. Time to Opt for Heart Healthy Lifestyle! We are well aware of the fact that heart is the vital part of our body but do we look after it as rigorously as we should? The answer is probably NO! A heart-healthy lifestyle is a heart-healthy style. It includes eating a balanced diet, exercising regularly, and avoiding smoking and excess alcohol consumption. SAAOL- Science and Art of Living has been proving an advanced treatment for heart blockages known as EECP treatment. If you wish to lower the risk of heart blockages then here are a few lifestyle changes that can help you achieve your goal.

  3. 1. Follow a heart-healthy diet A heart-healthy diet is one that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, as well as lean protein sources such as fish, tofu, and chicken. This type of diet is low in saturated and trans fats, as well as refined sugars and sodium. Following a heart-healthy diet can help to reduce your risk of developing cardiovascular disease, as well as improve your overall health. • Choose heart-healthy fats Having saturated fats in your diet can cause clogging of your arteries and heart disease. Monounsaturated fats can help protect your heart. Polyunsaturated fats can also help reduce your risk. Choose heart-healthy fats to help keep your cardiovascular system strong. Olive oil, nuts, and seeds are all good choices. • Cut back on salt. Too much salt can lead to high blood pressure, which in turn can put a strain on your heart. Try swapping out salty snacks for healthier alternatives, and be mindful of the amount of salt you’re adding to your food. With a little effort, you can easily reduce your sodium intake and help keep your heart healthy.

  4. Eat more fiber A recent study has found that eating more fiber can help reduce therisk of heart disease. It is a type of carbohydrate that is found in plant foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and beans. Fiber has also been shown to help lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure. 2. Start low and go slow If you’re like most people, you probably want to do everything you can to reduce your risk of heart disease. But making lifestyle changes can be tough, especially if you’re used to living a certain way. So start by making one or two changes at a time. And don’t try to do too much too quickly. Making gradual changes is more likely to stick, and it won’t be so overwhelming.

  5. 3. Participate in joyful movement Participating in joyful movement can be anything that gets you moving and makes you happy. It can be dancing, walking, playing sports, or even just gardening. The important thing is that you are doing something that you enjoy and that gets your heart pumping. 4. Avoid smoking Cigarette smoking is one of the most important preventable risk factors for cardiovascular disease. It’s estimated that smoking is responsible for about one-third of all heart diseases. Smoking damages your blood vessels and your heart. Within just a few years of quitting, your risk of having a heart attack drops significantly. 5. Maintain a healthy weight When it comes to heart health, one of the best things you can do is maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight or obese increases your risk for several heart-related conditions, including coronary heart disease, heart failure, and stroke. If you are overweight or obese, losing even a small amount of weight can help reduce your risk for heart disease.
